general inbox.

Much like the beloved (or feared, depending on who you ask) administration of Cuddle City, your friendly neighborhood moderators are always approachable with questions, comments, and concerns. All we ask is that you keep your communication civil and friendly, and allow us time to discuss your questions and provide you with a thoughtful, respectful answer.

This inbox is meant for things like general questions about game mechanics, the city of Cadelle, or other questions/comments/concerns that you have as a prospective or current player in Cuddle City! Please keep in mind that this post is unscreened, and all responses are public.

For the sake of convenience and organization, we ask that such inquiries are posted here, on our general inbox post, and that players refrain from contacting moderators in their official capacity via other channels, including but not limited to:

moderators' personal journals, plurks, or other social media;
the private message function in DW;
sending a private plurk to the [plurk.com profile] cuddlecity account;
or via comments on in-game character journals.
As a friendly reminder, please do not use this page for private matters, such as player behavior, personal concerns, et cetera. For such questions, please use our screened MOD CONTACT POST.

Hey mods! I asked this in the chat on Discord but it was suggested that this was a better venue. It doesn't actually apply to this month for me personally but I know that things get really hectic at work sometimes and my ability to sit down and tag is super limited because my time at home is super limited. On months like that, I wonder if there's a way that we can skip doing an open post or network that might end up having to ignore the majority of responses it gets and just tag out to the number of things we know we can handle that month?I would just hate to know that a particular month is going to be really busy at work and I really can't juggle more than two or three logs and maybe an OkCuddle thread or network post thread and because I have to have an open post, I can only respond to one or two of the people that hit it back. I don't want to have to ignore anything else that comes in after that in order to keep up on a crazy work month, but I also wouldn't want to fail activity. What would be the best course of action in your opinion, in a situation like this?

Just piggybacking

I'm just going to add on a possible suggestion for this, saying as I'm not the biggest fan of the engagement rule as it stands. Would it be possible to make the engagement portion a tlevel/post *or* an ac qualifying length thread with new cr? Because I know the rule is there to help prevent exclusivity, maybe that could be a decent alternative solution for players who don't have time or don't want to force out a post/tlevel for whatever reason.

Sorry for piggybacking, it was just something that occurred to me as an alternative option.

Don't be sorry, I personally actually really love that idea. That's usually how I try to tag out when I can, anyway, to be honest so that's right up my alley for an alternative I could 100% get on board with.

Okay. Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully I can keep up.
